Data Engineer with Databricks and PySpark

Responsibilities:

• Executing a migration of data and applications from Microsoft Fabric to Databricks, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance
• Providing technical knowledge and expertise in Databricks, including data engineering, data science, and machine learning capabilities
• Working closely with the customer team
• Implementing and advocating for best practices in data management, security, and governance within the Databricks environment
• Providing support and troubleshooting during the migration to ensure a smooth transition 

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Databricks with proven hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics
• Proficiency in PySpark for data processing and transformation tasks
• Solid understanding of SQL for querying and managing data
• Experience in data migration projects, particularly migrating from Microsoft Fabric or similar platforms to Databricks
• English level: B2, C1

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Azure services and ecosystem
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric
