Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Lead and orchestrate projects spanning business change requests, system developments, and new business onboarding across Operations
• Identify and resolve issues within projects across the business area, ensuring seamless implementation
• Champion improvement initiatives and foster competitive differentiation through the proposal and execution of innovative solutions
• Conduct thorough preparation and analysis of proposed system changes, aligning business requirements with technology deliverables to facilitate smooth project execution
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery, fostering productive relationships
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and secure necessary approvals to uphold project integrity
• Proactively escalate issues in a timely manner and cultivate strong working relationships with internal partners, including Technology, Oversight teams, Relationship Managers, and Project Managers
• Engage in additional business-oriented tasks as assigned by management
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the company, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

• Exceptional understanding of Financial Operations
• Minimum of 5 years' experience within Financial Services (Custody and Operations)
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient communication skills
• Excellent command of English
• Experience with tools such as TLM Reconciliation or IntelliMatch
• Accounting background would be beneficial
• Prior experience in reconciliations is advantageous, though not mandatory
