VDI Platform Engineer (Citrix/Azure)

Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical expert within the VDI domain, covering both cloud and on-premises Citrix environments
• Support platform ownership and architecture governance of the Citrix VDI ecosystem
• Define and maintain operational standards and procedures (SOPs) for the VDI platform
• Ensure operational quality, stability, and performance of the environment
• Evaluate and implement changes impacting platform stability, performance, and security
• Participate in VDI transformation and modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption
• Collaborate with internal teams such as security, networking, compliance, and architecture
• Work closely with vendors and technology partners on roadmap alignment and platform improvements
• Ensure the platform operates in line with security and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience working with Citrix-based VDI platforms
• Strong experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and enterprise VDI environments
• Hands-on experience with Citrix DaaS and hybrid cloud/on-premise VDI architectures
• Experience designing and operating VDI environments in Microsoft Azure
• Understanding of VDI image lifecycle management (golden images, patching, versioning)
• Understanding of VDI performance optimization, capacity planning and platform stability
• Knowledge of Azure networking, identity integration (AD / Entra ID) and hybrid connectivity
• Experience working with security standards and compliance requirements in enterprise environments
• Very good command of English (oral and written)
