Tester/Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Act as a versatile quality assurance specialist in an Agile, cross-functional team
• Execute appropriate manual tests based on various types of available information, including exploratory and regression testing
• Be well acquainted with the details of ongoing development. Know the key information about plans and project milestones
• Shape & optimize the approach to quality within the product area and company
• Actively participate in the early stages of turning ideas into Product Backlog Items, including the refinement process. Use your analytical skills to help solve complex business challenges
• Proactively search for information sources and continuously expand the understanding of surrounding business and technical constraints
• Support or lead the communication with business stakeholders for various purposes including (but not limited to) defect resolution, user story acceptance, identification of user needs, product demonstrations, creation of release notes, or training
• If needed, create and validate the content of User Stories, including Acceptance Criteria

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance (preferably in web testing)
• Understanding the role of the Quality Assurance area within Software Development processes
• Good knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
• English skills on B2 level
• Basic understanding of the purpose of Agile Principles in Software Development
• Basic understanding of simple process modeling diagrams (e.g. BPMN)
• Basic understanding of the cost-to-benefit ratio associated with various possible testing approaches
• Drive for self-improvement
• Experience with API testing and/or basic test automation
• Test management skills
• Business and systems analysis skills
