System Functional Safety Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Key technical contact to customer and supplier in regard to functional safety
• Development of Functional Safety system technical solution according to ISO 26262-4 in eCompressor control units and/or heater control units
• Provide Functional Safety evidences according to ISO 26262-4
• Incorporate Functional Safety into all relevant processes for System Design
• Support leadership, culture and competence for Functional Safety in System Engineering

Requirements:

• Proven experience in functional safety engineering, including developing Technical Safety Requirements and performing System Safety Analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to functional safety (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
• Strong expertise in conducting SYS FMEA, SYS FTA, and SYS DFA, and effectively translating analysis results into actionable design recommendations
• Experience in supporting verification and testing activities to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• English- B2/C1
