Senior Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing automated test cases for system integrations in a C# test framework
• Contribute in defining the overall test plan & quality approach for team
• Work actively with the agile team to secure high quality of the delivery
• Monitoring and maintaining of existing regression packs
• Analyzing, debugging and reporting of defects
• Monitoring and documenting test results
• Recommending appropriate actions for test results
• Daily impediments resolution and communication, risk mitigation
• Improve and extend the existing framework solution where possible

Requirements:

• Prior experience with software development and proficiency in at least one programming language (Java or C#)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with API test automation
• Experience with integration testing
• Experience with XML, JSON processing, SQL, Git version control, JIRA for issue tracking
• Knowledge of general software testing principles, ideally at the ISTQB Foundation Level
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins
• Ability to apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written
• Hands-on experience with REST API, IBM MQ, Apache Kafka
• Practical experience with Agile projects and continuous integration practices
• Experience in the banking domain
