Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and upgrade existing Java applications, ensuring compatibility across versions (Java 8-21) and improving overall performance
• Develop and enhance Spring Boot applications within a microservices architecture, ensuring smooth integration between interconnected services
• Migrate legacy applications to a modern technology stack, including K3S for Kubernetes deployment and ArgoCD for automated CI/CD
• Work extensively with legacy code, ensuring stability while refactoring and modernizing components to align with current best practices
• Use Docker to containerize applications and manage deployments in a K3S cluster environment
• Collaborate with Business Analysts (BA) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to address business requirements, resolve issues, and improve system functionality
• Manage and optimize relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) used by various applications
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and refactoring of legacy code to maintain high-quality standards
• Implement and monitor deployment processes, ensuring seamless application updates and minimizing downtime

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position
• Strong experience with Java (versions 8-21) for backend development
• Proficiency in Spring Boot for building scalable microservices
• Solid understanding of build tools such as Maven
• Experience with Docker for containerization and deploying applications
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL
• English level: B2, C1
• Familiarity with K3S for lightweight Kubernetes deployments - nice to have 
• Experience with Kafka for building real-time data streaming applications - nice to have 
• Knowledge of ArgoCD for GitOps and continuous delivery workflows - nice to have 
• Experience with Jakarta EE, JPA, and JSF for enterprise-level applications - nice to have
