Senior IT Business Analyst (Data)

Responsibilities:

• Talking with stakeholders about the data they can deliver, which sources the data are from
• Create workshops (material, input, output), support the solutioning, dialogue with SMEs about the solution, support cost case build, support stakeholder reporting
• Data collection and cleaning through gathering data from systems, databases, spreadsheets, and third-party sources, then preprocessing it to remove errors, handle missing values, and ensure consistency
• Exploratory data analysis by identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies using descriptive statistics and visualizations
• Data visualization and reporting via creating dashboards, charts, and reports (Excel and PowerPoint) to communicate findings effectively
• Business insights and recommendations translating analytical results into actionable options for project and stakeholders

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, including but not limited to software, hardware, networking, and security
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical staff
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team, including stakeholders from different departments and levels of seniority
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical issues proactively
• Proficiency in technical tools and platforms, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Windows
• Understanding of broader business continuity management
