Senior IBM Mainframe Developer

Responsibilities:

• Implement planned changes within the Payment Integrations area using advanced technical expertise
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to deliver solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS
• Apply strong mainframe programming experience to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in application development activities at an intermediate level of responsibility
• Communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form
• Independently analyze and resolve technical problems using demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Work creatively and efficiently as a quick learner and strong team player
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Utilize knowledge of Java/Mainframe integration (IMS, JCA) where applicable
• Apply knowledge of authentication and authorization methods using hash functions (SHA-2) and security tokens, where relevant

Requirements:

• Strong Mainframe Programming experience with COBOL/JCL/DB2/IMS
• Excellent Design and development skills in above mentioned technical stack
• Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills & able to independently solve technical problems
• Creative, Quick learner and excellent team player and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Java/Mainframe Integration (IMS,JCA)
• Knowledge of Authentication/Authorization methods using Hash functions (SHA-2)/ Security Tokens
