Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer (Cycloid)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with lead architects and DevOps peers to implement scalable, efficient, and secure cloud and private cloud solutions
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and automation strategies
• Lead the migration of legacy workflows to modern orchestration and automation frameworks as defined by architectural teams
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) for seamless deployment, validation, and management
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
• Develop reusable building blocks, templates, and modules for domain applications
• Partner with security teams to ensure solutions comply with industry best practices and regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot complex system issues across applications, platforms, and networks
• Stay updated on emerging trends in cloud computing, DevOps, and software development methodologies

Requirements:

• Proven ability to lead and influence teams without formal authority
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing and infrastructure, including AWS and private cloud solutions
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and transformation patterns
• Deep expertise in container and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform and Ansible
• Familiarity with GitOps principles and tooling (ArgoCD, Flux)
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins
• Familiarity with Platform Engineering principles and Cycloid tooling
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing
• Familiarity with observability tools and principles, including Dynatrace
• Solid understanding of network and security fundamentals
• Experience with integration platforms, including API Management and messaging solutions
• Proficiency in working collaboratively within cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders
• Experience with Cycloid, Terraform, Ansible, monitoring, GitOps, REST APIs, and CI/CD principles and practices
• Possession of EU/NATO security clearance or Polish citizenship and the ability to undergo verification in order to obtain EU/NATO security clearance
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Cloud/DevOps Engineer roles with proven achievements in implementing cloud solutions
• Strong portfolio of successful cloud and automation projects
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
