Release Manager

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, plan, and maintain the release roadmap for one or more applications
• Plan and oversee the release and deployment of multiple parallel releases
• Manage release go-live activities and post-go-live follow-ups
• Track and coordinate changes throughout the release lifecycle
• Lead release decision meetings to secure stakeholder approval for each milestone
• Organize handover sessions from development to operations teams
• Enhance release quality and efficiency by integrating automation, new techniques, and DevOps practices

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field
• 7+ years of IT project management and planning experience, with a background in release or deployment management, preferably within the banking sector
• Strong coordination and planning skills, with attention to detail and the ability to maintain an overview of deliverables
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies
• Experience working with continuous integration, deployment practices, and ITIL frameworks (incident, problem, and change management)
• Familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence
• A basic understanding of DevOps practices and a passion for working with industry-leading release orchestration tools to create automated release pipelines
• Flexibility to work paid evenings and weekends for implementation events
• Very good command of English (oral and written)
