Java Developer

Responsibilities:

• Participating in the daily stand-up meetings
• Designing and developing system components (backend), based on the analysis of the customer‘s functional and non-functional requirements
• Contributing to the requirements analysis, implementation, testing, quality assurance, change management, deployment
• Prototyping solutions (backend)
• Optimizing software from performance, security and quality point of views (backend)
• Producing technical documentation
• Acting as 2nd and 3rd line support
• Testing software (backend)
• Proposing technical solutions for business needs and technical problems
• Demonstrating the code developed to the Product Owner during the sprint review meetings
• Supporting the client if they need to take screenshots for their internal meetings or want to understand better the proposed solution

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of professional hands-on experience in software development in Object-Oriented programming, specifically on JAVA/JEE technologies (EJB, JPA, Web
• Services, WebSockets, RESTful interfaces, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of JBoss 7 EAP Application Server, Linux (RedHat and Ubuntu), Apache Web server, PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server databases
• Hands-on experience in working with Maven, Git, JUnit, Jenkins, and IntelliJ IDEA
• Experience in analyzing requirements and recommend solutions for the system backend part
• Good command of the English language (in reading and in writing, minimum B2, preferable C1, as English is the working language)
• First cycle higher education degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering
• Java Certified Programmer Certification (Java 8 or above) would be a plus
• Knowledge of Angular/Type Script, Docker, JProfiler and JMeter
• Automated testing frameworks for front and backend development like Selenide/Selenium, Postman, etc.
