Data Architect

Responsibilities:

• Designing the Kimball Data Model for a new data warehouse
• Developing and implementing ETL processes
• Building the query layer
• Designing and implementing Slowly Changing Dimensions
• Preparing a Proof of Concept covering: the Data Warehouse layer, ETL processes, the analytical engine (Analysis Engine)

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Data Warehouses, including infrastructure-level work
• Strong knowledge of the Kimball Data Model or similar data warehouse design concepts
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Hands-on ETL design and development experience
• Experience using AI tools supporting design and development
• Ability to design: slowly Changing Dimensions, analytical and intermediate layers, reporting-oriented data models
• Ability to clearly present and explain professional experiences in a business-friendly manner
• Strong technical competencies: SQL Server, ETL, Kimball
• Proven experience in building commercial data warehouses from scratch
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, proactiveness
• Ability to work in project environments and deliver complete end-to-end solutions
• English at minimum B2+, ideally C1
