Cloud/Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Supports data review and cleansing activities across Databricks workspaces
• Implements agreed data deletion, archival, and replication-control processes under the guidance of the Senior Databricks Administrator
• Develops and validates scripts, jobs, and automation to enforce data-retention and cluster-usage policies
• Monitors and documents the cost-impact results of implemented changes for inclusion in the Workstream 1 Cost Savings Report
• Provides technical input during stakeholder reviews and supports the preparation of handover documentation

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering within cloud-based data platforms, particularly Databricks/Lakehouse environments
• Strong engineering skills with proven proficiency in SQL and Python
• Good understanding of cloud data warehouse concepts and administration
• Advanced knowledge of English
