Cloud Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Data Lake
• Analyzing and optimizing existing data architecture and preparing code for migration
• Processing and transforming data using Python, PySpark and SQL to ensure data quality and performance
• Ensuring data security through Azure Key Vault, encryption and access control
• Liaising with customers and vendors - regular meetings, updating project status and resolving technical issues
• Supporting the team and mentoring junior team members, delegating tasks and monitoring code quality
• Maintain best practices for performance monitoring and process optimization

Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of Python, PySpark and SQL - experience in processing large data sets
• Experience working with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Data Lake
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and data model and schema design Experience in building ETL/ELT processes
• Understanding of data security and use of Azure Key Vault and encryption
• Ability to analyze and optimize existing data architecture
• Knowledge of English at B2 level (minimum)

Nice to have:

• Experience in Data Science, NLP and business data analysis
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools in the context of data
