Senior Azure Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance data pipelines on Microsoft Azure
• Build and optimize ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources including data warehouses, data lakes, and relational/non-relational databases
• Manage version control and deployment workflows using Git/GitHub and support CI/CD pipelines
• Work collaboratively within a Scrum team to deliver data solutions aligned with business requirements
• Monitor data quality, resolve technical issues, and ensure security and compliance of data processes
• Act as an informal leader, proactively suggesting improvements, challenging decisions, and promoting best practices
• Develop and refine data structures in formats like Parquet within Azure Data Lake

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in similar position
• Strong SQL skills, ideally T-SQL
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and ETL development
• Practical experience with Git and basic understanding of Scrum
• Understanding of data lakes and Parquet file format
• Strong proactive and communication mindset
• English level: B2, C1

• Experience with Cosmos DB, Power BI, CI/CD, GitHub
