QA Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain automated test cases in collaboration with developers, manual testers, product owners and business stakeholders
• Reduce reliance on manual testing by automating front-end and back-end testing flows
• Perform performance and non-functional testing using tools such as JMeter
• Prepare, gather and manage test data required for testing scenarios
• Monitor, debug and document test execution results and defects
• Continuously improve automated test coverage across the system
• Support and drive quality assurance activities within the delivery team
• Contribute to improving testing standards, processes and best practices

Requirements:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, including GUI (web) and service-level (REST API) testing
• Strong Java programming skills used for test automation
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Rest-Assured, Maven, Postman, Chrome DevTools
• Experience with performance testing, particularly using JMeter
• Practical knowledge of Git version control
• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo
• Experience with test management tools (preferably qTest)
• Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with test automation principles and QA processes (e.g., ISTQB Foundation level knowledge)
• Ability to drive and support QA activities across cross-functional delivery teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to promote automation practices within the team
• Experience working with data formats such as XML, JSON and CSV
• Very good command of English (oral and written)

Nice to have:

• Experience in mobile application testing
• Experience implementing Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and working with Gherkin
• Hands-on manual testing experience
