Java Integration Developer

Responsibilities:

• Software development with focus on backend and integration solutions
• Building and maintaining microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Developing and integrating APIs
• Working with ETL processes and data integration tools
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in backend or integration-focused roles
• Strong experience with Java, preferably Java 21
• Practical experience with Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and API development
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Experience with DataStage or other ETL/data integration tools
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven
• Experience working with Kafka
• Familiarity with Liquibase and database change management
• Understanding of DevOps ways of working and CI/CD practices
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively in an agile environment
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of JOLT
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Apache Camel
• Experience with Oracle SOA Suite
• Knowledge of Scrum methodology
• Previous experience in banking, financial services, or Financial Crime Prevention / AML-related projects
