Java Engineer with Scala

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance existing features for a large classified advertising platform, focusing on scalability, performance, and code efficiency in Java and Scala
• Implement updates and modifications to the codebase with a focus on platform stability and user experience
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure code quality and maintainability
• Contribute to the overall technical improvement of the codebase, addressing technical debt and optimizing current solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in similar position
• Proficiency in Scala (version 2.13) and Java (versions 11-23), with solid experience in both languages
• Strong background in developing and maintaining scalable applications, with attention to performance and best practices
• Experience working in a collaborative environment, with excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical approach
• English level: B2, C1
• Nice to have: Familiarity with AWS, MySQL, Consul, and Docker for cloud services, database management, and containerization
