Claims Processing Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Process interest claims and penalties in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Perform end-to-end analysis of failed trades to identify root causes and determine liability
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external counterparties to gather data, resolve queries, and provide timely updates
  • Analyze claim documentation, verify calculations, and assess claim validity
  • Ensure accurate and professional communication throughout the claims lifecycle
  • Monitor and apply relevant ISITC and CSDR regulations
  • Maintain full compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on claims status and outcomes
  • Handle complex client queries and support detailed claim reviews
  • Prepare presentations and participate in client walkthrough sessions
  • Support Team Manager/Supervisor in day-to-day activities
  • Identify operational risks and propose improvements, including new controls and KRIs
  • Ensure procedures and audit documentation are up to date and aligned across processes

 

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of experience in the financial sector, with exposure to securities and FX trade processing and capital markets
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Middle Office, Trade Matching & Settlements, or Trade Processing
  • Strong understanding of post-trade lifecycle and operational processes
  • Familiarity with ISITC and CSDR regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with international stakeholders
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and results orientation
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Professional level of English

Nice to have:

  • Experience in claims processing or reconciliation roles
  • Knowledge of custody or asset servicing environments
  • Exposure to regulatory reporting or audit processes
