DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps services, IaaC Tools – Terraform and Github repositories
• Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring of Azure infrastructure using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bash & PowerShell scripts
• Implement best practices for source control management, branching, and code merging within Azure Repos or Git repositories
• Configure and manage Azure services including but not limited to Azure App Services, Kubernetes clusters, Dockers, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Data Stack and Azure Container Instances (ACI)
• Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and assist in designing and maintaining scalable as well as reliable deployment architectures
• Will be involved in minor release activities for the application and manage the data pipelines on azure databricks, Azure lake, Power BI on Azure
• Monitor system health, azure cloud infrastructure and data platform, performance, and reliability of Azure infrastructure and applications using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and other monitoring tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure deployments, and application performance
• Take care of Incident, change and problem management for azure cloud infrastructure and data platform
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in Azure environments specially GDPR and other security compliance
• Document technical designs, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in Azure DevOps, cloud computing, and DevOps practices with good knowledge around Kafka/Confluent Kafka, Akamai, Azure security, SonarQube, Datadog and any monitoring tools on top of default Azure monitoring stack

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position
• Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Deep expertise in managing and deploying Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
• Proficient in integrating and managing Azure Data Stack.
• Strong experience in using Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management and operations.
• Expert knowledge in Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) & Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Solid experience in Git for source control management.
• Proficient in Linux/Bash scripting.
• Basic understanding of network architectures and protocols to support cloud services troubleshooting and optimization.
• English level: B2-C2
