Tax Form Solicitation Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of Tax Form Solicitation Analysts who will work closely with Assistant Bankers (AB’s) to ensure timely outreach, collection, review of mandatory client tax documentation including forms such as W8/W9 variants
  • Work in partnership with the Private Banker team and Business Change Team along with other teams including Client Account Opening (CAO) and Tax Operations
  • Ensure that current client tax documentation is maintained in systems to ensure the correct taxes are applied to client’s accounts
  • Identify ways to streamline the current internal tax form processes and to make them more efficient
  • Improve client and banker experience via automation, included increased use of Digital Channels
  • Identify any function gaps, highlight associated risks and suggest solutions
  • Centrally capture and maintain the key client information required to support accurate and efficient client outreach
  • Maintain an active interest and understanding of Tax Regulation and its impact to this function
  • Assist with the formation of appropriate SLA’s
  • Ensure all Banker and Client Requests are dealt with in line with agreed SLA’s
  • Produce MI to track client requests and team productivity metrics
  • Monitor and adapt to changes in business and tax processes and policies
  • Maintain learning program through internal courses

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a servicing role within the Financial Services sector (Private Banking/Wealth management experience preferred)
  • Proven experience in managing teams
  • Proven experience in a front/middle office environment dealing directly with clients
  • Excellent use of the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Very good command of English (oral and written)
  • Possess strong team working skills, willing to put forward ideas and challenge current practice
  • Excellent relationship building skills (with clients, and across hierarchical levels and other functions)
  • Strong client service mindset and ability to quickly and accurate respond to client’s queries
  • Prior experience working in any Tax Client Services roles is of benefit
  • Prior experience in Client Onboarding/KYC role is of benefit
