Service Transition Manager

Responsibilities:

• Work independently and as part of a team
• Chair, facilitate and lead meetings
• Deal tactfully, effectively and influencing colleagues across multiple teams
• Take ownership of tasks given to you and see them through to resolution
• Manage workload demands to tight deadlines when required
• Understand key project technical documentation such as high level design/low level design documents
• Understanding of service requirements and non-functional requirements
• Act proactively and use initiative and exercise sound judgment in decision making
• Understanding of ITIL Service Design and Transition
• Understanding of the Project lifecycle
• Awareness of technical solutions and technologies
• Experience of formulating service definitions documents and other process related documents using tools like Visio

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience of Service Management/Service Transition.
• Strong understanding of Transition Management principles, procedures and best practices
• Strong customer focus and ability to manage customer expectations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to present and explain technical and business information to stakeholders at various levels
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience of identifying service based risks and issues
• Working experience on Service Now tool
• Reporting Skills using MS Excel/Powerpoint
• Stakeholder relationship management experience
• Strong negotiation ability and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines
• Ability to work independently with little supervision - nice to have
