KYC Analyst

Responsibilities:

This position will involve the review of client profiles to ensure compliance with Client's policy and regulatory mandates. The KYC Specialist will act as a front line quality control and process due diligence verification gatekeeper, ensuring there are no deficiencies in profile data or documentation. Successful candidate will be in position to act in partnership with Business units as well as Compliance and Account Opening to identify and resolve any risks or issues identified during client Onboarding and periodic review processes and ensure standards set by the KYC Directive are met.

The KYC Specialist will review and access client profiles and supporting documentation for adherence to CPB policy and quality requirements. This position requires the ability to work independently and apply knowledge of policy and procedures to determine that all aspects of the client’s profile are acceptable. With experience, specialist will act as a subject matter expert in relation to any policy or process inquiries and system enhancement requests.

The aim of this position is to support the data remediation related to the 5th AML Directive.

Requirements:

• 2 Years KYC or AML Compliance skills, ideally gained from working in a similar role
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Excellent verbal and written English is a must
• Able to work with deadlines, Well organized, Ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail, Ability to work both independently and within a team
