Design challenge:

Banknotes most often used to pay for services were withdrawn from circulation overnight on one of the greatest markets of our Client. In one day the Client's revenues decreased by an order of magnitude. The Client's dominating position on the market was threatened.

Project Scope:

An analysis of available options of web payments that would fill the gap after the withdrawn cash. Renegotiation of contracts with global of online payments and establishment of cooperation with local partners in this regard. Integration of the Client's systems with new online payment systems.

Design challenge:

Effective provision of services on one of the largest markets of the Client requires extensive planning of events in which from several to several thousand people take part. The planning includes the availability of specialists, equipment, auxiliary personnel and exact planning of the location, and is made ca. 50 times a year. Information about locations is confidential and is disclosed to the public at the last moment, to minimise the risk of terrorist attacks.

Scope of works of DCG:

Re-engineering of business processes associated with planning. Expansion of the existing systems with functions allowing accurate planning with limited data. Implementation of a system for handling business rules defining the scope and the moment of disclosure of more detailed information about planned events.

Result:

Optimisation of the planning process by reducing the time needed to conduct the planning. Optimisation of the cost of providing the service by selection of physical locations, human resources and equipment according to the key - from the cheapest to the most expensive. Support of the process ensuring safety of participants of events by a limited communication concerning a physical location.

Design challenge:

Our Client, looking for the method for reducing operating costs, has planned a global standardisation of business processes. The Client operates in 100+ countries, and the standardised processes correspond to USD 1B +revenue annually. The unification of processes could not exclude their adaptation to local cultural factors, or legal or geographical conditions.

Project Scope:

An AS-IS analysis of business processes, and modelling of TO-BE processes. Identification of stages of processes that must be adapted to the local conditions of a particular country. Implementation of the system of business process management (BPM) consisting in a number of dedicated modules whose configuration enables to configure particular stages and parameters of the process.
